Our fertility team is comprised of Dr. Lin and a group of experienced nurses, financial advisors and medical staff who have worked together for over six years. Every member of our team strongly believes in our practice philosophy to meet and exceed your expectations. Everybody is dedicated to fulfilling each of its components with the utmost care and compassion for our patients. This is not a place where people just come to work; it is a place where our team members intrinsically want to help couples fulfill their dream of having a family.
During your first appointment you will meet with Dr. Lin as well as the nurses, financial advisor and staff who will be guiding through your fertility journey.

Our Staff
Our nursing staff has 15+ years of fertility experience and 5+ years of midwifery experience as well.
Our patient coordinators and medical staff are a key part of the team at Sound Fertility. From scheduling appointments in the evenings and on the weekends to accommodate your schedule, to obtaining medical history and records from referring physicians before your first appointment, our patient coordinators work diligently to meet your needs and make your experience as stress-free and pleasant as possible.
Our Financial Advisor
Our financial advisor will check your insurance coverage and outline your responsibilities for deductibles, coinsurance and co-pays. She will help you to find out if your insurance will cover infertility diagnostics, treatment or both. If you don’t have insurance, she will provide you with information about our discounted self-pay pricing package. Throughout the treatment process, your financial advisor will be available to answer any of your questions and fully explain all costs associated with your treatment.
About Our Fertility Center
Located in the Medical Dental Building in the heart of downtown Seattle, Sound Fertility is part of a vibrant community of established practitioners in state-of-the-art medicine, dentistry and alternative care. Our modern offices are easily accessible by public transportation.
To accommodate all patients and avoid scheduling conflicts, our patient coordinators schedule appointments in the evenings and on the weekends, in addition to standard office hours.

About Your First Visit
Before you arrive at our office, please gather information that could be relevant for your care and treatment and any medical records from previous fertility treatment if applicable. Not only does this streamline the process, it enables Dr. Lin to ask the right questions and begin developing a course of treatment that will lead to your success of having a baby.
Your first visit begins with a complete review of your and your partner’s family and medical history, including careful assessment of family history risk factors. In addition, Dr. Lin will conduct a complete physical exam. With about half of infertility issues related to the male partner, we believe significant attention should be focused on diagnostics for both partners. We dedicate a lot of time prior to and during your appointment to understand you and your partner’s relevant family and medical history. If your partner is unable to attend this first appointment, we recommend he schedules an individual appointment at a later date. Ultimately, we want to create an environment where male partners are comfortable being involved in the fertility process, and develop a treatment plan that best addresses your needs as a couple.
In order for you to have the best chance at the healthiest pregnancy, Dr. Lin will also focus on your general well being. She will determine if there are additional factors such as nutrition or stress that should be addressed prior to undertaking fertility treatment and your pregnancy. Any time during Dr. Lin’s full assessment and examination and thereafter, we encourage you and your partner to ask any questions or discuss any concerns you may have. While many initial appointments last approximately 90 minutes, Dr. Lin is always available to help and answer your questions by phone or email.
